This morning I helped get the sandwiches ready for Tina's lunch time meeting and then spent a bit of time re-arranging the kitchen cupboards so that we could get last nights shopping put away, and so that I could stop having things fall on my head when I was getting stuff out! While we were shopping last night Tina asked if I would like some tulips and they are really bright cheerful colours.
I walked to town, had a parcel to return for Tina at the post office and I wanted some thread for the quilt and some brown shoe polish. Did a round trip and called in at the studio and had a cup of tea with Sandy. I am thinking about what to paint next, any ideas or requests, let me know! I cut through to the cliff top on the way home, the tide was out as far as I have seen it I think.
When I got home there had been a parcel delivery for Tina, but as we weren't in it was left down the road. The people were out but their very pretty cat thought I could let it in!!
Been making a pie for dinner, the pastry was very crumbly today so more like a patchwork pie, but hopefully it will taste okay!!
The tulips are lovely, shame they do not last as long as some but very pretty, a pin in their heads do help. I'm sure everyone will enjoy the pie.x
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip. Pie tasted good. x
DeleteI know a few people that a pin in the head would help too :-)
ReplyDeleteI fancy a nice pie now, well not this very moment, maybe tomorrow!
Very colourful flowers, would look good as a watercolour.
They would like a nice painting but can't leave the sewing half done!!
