This morning I sorted out some more stuff to go and Darren took me to the charity shop and the community centre to drop of loads of bags so that was a good job out of the way. We went and had a cuppa at Sainsbury's and bought a few bits and then he dropped me off at the studio so that I could pop in and see them and Sandra at the craft shop. Had a nice chat with Sandra before I headed home. Much better day today and I was debating whether to go for a walk when Tina offered to drop me off near the south bay on her way to a meeting. I had never walked down the road she dropped me off in so took a picture of this old church which is now a building for the sea cadets.
It was really nice to see a blue sky today, it has been grey for so long now.
I set out round the headland between the two bays, I noticed these footprints in the concrete, that bird must have found it difficult to take off!
I hope nobody was walking by when this wave hit!
These houses looked good silhouetted against the yellowing sky.
The castle as I walked by.
A nice view of the north bay.
I liked the way that the sun was reflecting on the windows of this house.
I wonder if this plane was off to warmer climates, or certainly drier ones!
I thought this cloud looked a bit like a space ship, or maybe a fish! Ok, I may be going even nuttier than usual!
Be lovely if we have another rain free day tomorrow!
A really good mix of pictures today, a bit of everything. I particularly like the silhouette, and the red glow on the castle. A squid immediately popped into my mind when I first looked at the cloud. So I'm probably as nutty as you think you are :-)
ReplyDeleteYes, I thought it was quite a good variety of shots today.
DeleteYes a good set of photos. The red cloud looks like a prehistoric whale to me.
ReplyDeleteWould not mind being on that plane if it's going somewhere warm and sunny. Wet here but not cold.
I can see the whale now :-)
DeleteI am glad the cloud had caused some interest as it caught my eye! x
