The four of us went to breakfast this morning which was nice. Then Tina was off to work and Darren was taking her car to get the tyre checked out. Mike made sure he had packed everything and dropped me off at the station at the beginning of his journey home. I had an appointment at the chiropractor so it saved me a walk into town. The session went well, the very patient young man get books out with pictures so that I can understand which muscles he is working on, and is ready to answer my questions. The treatment was quite painful but felt a bit better once he has stopped. Going back next week and have an exercise to do everyday and have to apply heat a few times a day as well. I went to look at the sea, a damp, grey day, so different from yesterday!
. I walked home pottered indoors for a bit. Darren and I had been going to do some clearing in the garden, but it really needs to be a dry day as there is a lot of glass to collect up. Tina contacted Darren to say she was out to lunch so we went and had a snack and I needed to go to Sainsbury's as I had a voucher saying if I spent £25 on clothes I would get another voucher giving 8p a litre off petrol. I got a new jacket as my winter one is about three or four years old and could do with a wash! I watched Call the Midwife on catch up, very good and cleverly filmed. Then I started assembling the charm pack quilt rows. Stopped to get dinner and have finished putting the centre together now.
I got a 'magic bean' in a tin for Christmas, and have followed the instructions and it is now out in the open!
How cute is that?
That does look damp and grey. I was really lucky to get the nice weather while I was up there! I hope the treatment does some good, and helps get rid of the aches and pain. Well worth a try. The quilt looks really good, and although it probably doesn't seem like it to you, it seems to be coming together really quickly. That bean has shot up in the past couple of days :-)
ReplyDeleteIt has, not sure how big it will get before it keels over! Cannot get any more of that quilt done until I get the instructions!
