No sun today sadly, another grey start. I decided to walk into town mainly because I wanted a small bin for the bedroom. I have been using a carrier bag, but now the room is re-arranged and tidy and spacious a bit seemed like a good idea. I did walk down to have a look at the south bay while I was out. At that point the sun was threatening to come out, never did quite manage it, but it gave a lovely light quality over the bay.

I had a while indoors and then decided I would go to the quilting class, as I didn't attend the last one I signed up for. Just four of us making this quilt and one other lady machining away on a different quilt. We were just cutting ten inch squares today in wadding and fleece, the top material came in a ready cut pack.
We all have the same pack of materials but will probably put them together in different orders! I will be a very chunky, snuggly quilt, the course if just four weeks this time. Telefest tonight, The Voice and Casualty!

  1. The bay does look good, even when overcast, makes the clouds stand out more. Can't see any animals in them today though. Chunky, snugly quilt sounds good. You need to get it done quick while it's still cold!

  3. I'm sure you could teach the others how to make the quilt, the one you did for Anya was beautiful. Love the warm colours. Asked Lada about the pillow case bed, she thinks we had better leave it for now due to space. Lovely idea tho and thx. Xx
