Yesterday evening I did a sketch of an ornament as O am going to try and draw more regularly. I had a few minutes before the bus home this morning so did a really quick sketch, not a very inspiring subject, but I did put pencil to paper again!
I put a couple of plants into the garden this afternoon, this bee was enjoying the flowers by the front door.
We bought a grass that turns red when we went to the nursery last week, I split it into four small plants nd have two in the front garden and two in the back.
After tea I watered the gardens, the giant sea kale plants are huge and busting into their tiny flowers now.
I have sewn the five rows of squares together since I got in, will press them and get them together tomorrow, maybe!
Will finish with a couple of pictures of my god-daughter who got married on Saturday.
It’s good you’ve booked the appointment. You’ve had so much pain from the wrist lately that something had to be done. Hopefully they’ll be able to sort it, but if the worst comes to the worst and they can’t do anything with it at least you’ll know. Fingers crossed something can be done 🤞🏻
ReplyDeleteI’ve seen some dressers before with various mismatched drawer like that and I think they look great. I’d definitely have one. Not everyone’s cup of tea I suppose.
You really should do more drawing. You produce some good stuff, even though you always say you don’t think they’re very good. You always criticise your own work. I think they’re great. The hare in particular is brilliant.
I’ve never known a garden have so many plants put in it. You must have half emptied a nursery since you’ve been there 😊 Sadly if think the garden might need watering a few more nights yet. According to the forecast we are do a heatwave down here by the weekend. I assume it’ll be similar up there for you.
They had a nice day for the wedding. The pics are lovely in the sun.
Enjoy the new drama this evening.
Quite a full day, did get some household chores done too. Think it might be some weeding tomorrow.
ReplyDeletePlanning to keep sketching but I have had those sort of plans before!
