Ghana from fourteen years ago! The toilet at the orphanage and the bead market. I say toilet, it was a hole in the ground!
I spent a couple of hours out in the front garden this morning weeding and hoeing right along one side of the garden and removing about three carts of weed and prunings. Just took one picture of a stunning flower.
This afternoon I learned along near the wall, have lost count of the times I have tried to keep this area under control.
Then I sat in the summer house for a while. After tea I spent almost another two hours doing a bit of clearing and getting some plants in and then watered all of the back garden and the pots out the front.
Have the football on now, England are in the lead at the moment.
Blimey, I can’t believe that trip was 14 years ago! I remember you being there very well. I feel old now 😊 We do take a lot for granted in this country, like toilets that flush for instance. Half of us wouldn’t survive without our little luxuries!
ReplyDeleteYou’ve had a pretty good day in the garden, if that’s the way of describing several hours of hard labour and sweating! I know you’ll be pleased with what you’ve achieved and hopefully others will be too, so it makes it worthwhile. At least you made use of the summerhouse for a while. No point in slaving in the garden if you can’t get to enjoy it occasionally.
OMG not football ⚽️ 🥅 again! Everyone is talking about it, you’re all mad 🤪
Mostly maintenance today but it has to be done.
ReplyDeleteFourteen years, it is hard to believe.
Have to be patriotic!
