Like this structure, took a picture of the plaque as well.
Lots of pigeons and a nice shot of the town as I headed back.
Went into Princes Quay as well so got back to have the keys cut about an hour later. Another note had been in saying it would be another half hour! I sat and rested for a bit and then saw the shop opposite. That was the Oh Dear moment!
I walked along to Lush and got the bubble bars and then back to try again. If the shop had still been closed then Tina wouldn’t have got her keys cut! It was open but it was a stand in guy who at first said he knew nothing about any blanks, my heart sank, but thankfully he found them! I went along to a cafe I have been to a couple of times before, it had changed hands and wasn’t nearly as nice but I really needed to sit down and have a drink. Went to Debenhams before I made my way back for the bus trip home.
This evening Tina drove us to Mappleton, a beautiful evening. I will attempt to add a lot of pictures but may have to stop as the blogger app is temperamental.
Would have been nicer to have a little trip out without having to put up with the lag pain, but you’re not one to let a Lillie thing like that put you off! First twinge and I’d have been in bed 😊 Has been a reasonably nice day though, so nice to get out and make the most of it.
ReplyDeleteChristmas shops! Humbug! Soon they’ll be permanent and open all year. There’s a lot to be said for becoming a Jehovah’s Witness 😊
The getting of the keys turned into a real quest. But you persevered though the little challenges that got in your way and got them in the end. Just leave the doors unlocked, it’d be so much easier.
Shame lunch was a bit disappointing. All in all I’m sure you were pleased to get home in the end.
I like the distant wind turbines in the greyness. They look pink, which I assume was the sun setting, unless they are actually pink! Love all the pics from Mappleton, but 4, 5, 7, 9 and 11 stand out to me. You’re so lucky to be able to go to places like that to take pics.
The Hull trip did turn out to be a bit challenging, but got the errands done and the weather was nice. The trip this evening certainly made up for it. Was able to get the wind farm in the sea because I took the camera along tonight. Some of the photos were with the phone and some the camera.
DeleteThe wind turbines are white, just pink in the sun!
