That’ll teach me, maybe!

I waited until the Ringtons man had been as Tina had gone out for the day then I bought I would walk down to the sea as it was a lovely morning. I have been worrying about my blood pressure so thought I would make myself walk a bit faster and try and get my heart rate up.not exactly marching but sort of marching by my recent standards which are slow and stop! My knees were really aching when I got there, did have a drink before I walked back, pretty slowly!

Passed this house on the way back, a great Halloween display out front. The same house had a great scarecrow display earlier in the year.
The waking really messed up the day, I have done some puzzles and did get out in the garden long enough to plant some cyclamen plants I got out of the tubs yesterday.
I am going to start shortening a couple of pairs of baggy trousers tonight, as they like you to get dressed in hospital and my usual trousers won’t fit until the swelling goes down.
Will endeavour not to do anything that messes the day up tomorrow!

  1. I can understand why you wanted to up the pace a bit, but doesn’t sound like a good idea at the moment. Hopefully you’ll not trying that again for a while, but I know what stubborn bugger you are 😀 You should do old lady things like sitting in your chair doing embroidery and knitting......or not!
Like the Halloween display. I saw a house today that had taken the trouble to do a nice display. Don’t see many in this neck of the woods.
Sitting in the chair shortening trousers is an old lady thing, so it’s a start 😊

    1. Won’t be trying it again any time soon, probably couldn’t anyway! I am sure they will settle down.
That house really goes to town, not that many here either.
Will be sitting machining the trousers tomorrow!
