Gardening, puzzle and hair!

The weather was nice again this morning so I spent over an hour working in the front garden hoeing and digging today. I like cornflowers but they are very invasive and choke whatever else is in the bed, so tried to dig some out and reduce the amount! Didn’t take photos, the garden phots are even beginning to bore me! Came indoors and finished the puzzle I bought at the boot sale on Sunday. I am sticking with the five hundreds now, not that I can’t do the larger ones, but it is how much room they take, the 500’s fit on a drawing board Pandora doesn’t play with them now so they can be left out. I really enjoyed doing this one, a nice scene and not overly difficult.
Then I walked up to the hairdressers, not far but walking was a challenge today, they weren’t open, we’re meant to be but much as I like them catching them is a bit hit and miss! Went along to the nearest shop and got some bits for lunch.
I have been trying to tidy my rooms up again, always an on going saga as I am basically untidy and have way too much stuff! I found the hairdressers card and phoned, no reply but left a message. Sal phoned back quickly and he said I could go in this afternoon. So back again, had Sal and
Carol doing a two handler again today, but well used to it now! Then had a chat with them for a while which was good, they are a really nice couple and have terrible trouble with their rebel teenage daughter. Hair needs a wash now, but a good cut as usual.
Note that I hav the chair to myself, no cat pushing my head forward!
When I was walking back I took a photo of these beauties in the church grounds.
When I put the fx food out I took a picture of the small pampas, looking good now.

  1. Quite a busy day for you. I’m surprised to hear that garden photos are boring you. You usually find lots of different things to photograph out there. I’m sure what you did looks nice though.
That puzzle is a nice one. No doubt it’s back in its box again, not to see the light of day again for a little while.
Glad you managed to get your hair done. They are good there and do seem to look after their regulars well. I love the fact that they do a two handed cut. I’d like to see that, or better still experience it. It does look nice. Are you still using the hair chalks, think it was chalks, that you got.
Hope you’ve finished tidying and crafting for the evening and have your feet up for a while now.

  2. I do like the way they cut my hair, they are not every bodies cup of tea but I really like them as a couple too.
I meant pictures of the stuff I do is boring, not some of the plants.
