Garden shots

Darren and I went to the boot sale this morning, I bought a rail for clothes that I can use when we have a stall ourselves. The only other thing I got was a bonsai dish. I hadn’t felt too well last night and was not 100% today so we didn’t go to the market. I have spent a lot of time sitting in the summer house, a break for a while from bird watching to put in the aubretia plant we got yesterday.
There were two young squirrels in the tree today but they had worked out how to use the bird feeders!

Going to post quite a few more so brace yourself!
The young starling are now using the feeders so it is not quite so noisy out there now.

Some flora for a change.

Now some more squirrel pics!

Mrs Blackbird!

More squirrels....

Just a couple more photos to finish the post.

  1. I’d say a bit of car booting and an extended period watch the wildlife is a good way to spend a Sunday, or any day come to that.
The squirrels are so cute, and pretty damn clever too. Hope you’ve got the next assignment of fat balls on order as I think you’re going to need them very soon!
You caught a great pic of a baby starling feeding. It’s the one where it’s side on to the camera and flapping like crazy. It’s all in focus apart from the wings obviously.
Hope you’re feeling a bit better by now.

  2. A very pleasant way to spend the day, just love seeing the wildlife and taking pics of them too. I thought. That photo of the baby starling was a good catch.
