After lunch and a bit more gardening I went in the summer house for a while. The sun was out today, in fact it was really hot working out there today, but it made a very different light for the pictures this afternoon.
I had put some more suet logs and fat balls out so the squirrel arrived.
A wood pigeon wandered by.......
Then the squirrel decided to see what titbits it could find on the ground.
Quite gingery that one in the sunlight.
The next two photos are a sort of arty experiment. The same greenery but different focal point!
Quite like them!!
The delivery of me tools for dolls house furniture making arrived when I was out the front gardening, which was good. Tina and Darren think I should use them under supervision, knowing my habit of slicing pieces off my fingers!!
One more bird picture which I almost forgot as it has a blue tit and a great tit on the feeder,
I had a walk to a different charity shop today to find pots for the indoor gardening talk, also got another second hand book through the post. Even bought four plants!
Went round to the church this evening as back up at a wedding rehearsal but was back in time to see the second half of the football. Go England!
I really need a garden with flowers in it. A bit of colour would be lovely. And before you suggest it, I’m not going to take up gardening 😊 I’ve definitely not got green fingers. Amazingly my pot plant is still surviving too!
ReplyDeleteI quite like the different light. In those pics. Still lots of detail in them. The squirrel looks like it’s sitting and begging for food. The amount of fat balls it eats it should be at least twice the size! I like your two different focal point shots. Surprising the difference it makes to a pic. You’re really getting into the artsy side of it more these days. You’ll be in aperture and shutter priority mode before before long, then onto full manual. That’s when you get the official photo nerd badge 😊
Good choice of colour for the new knife. It won’t show the blood so much! Do be careful, as I know what you’re like with those things. Makes me wince.
You’re little indoor gardening talk should be really good. You’re getting into it with the books and bits. I like the four new plants. Green and shiny, perfect. I’d like to get some more for the flat, but I suppose I better wait and see if I can manage to keep one alive before committing to any more!
I liked the different light, makes the same sort of shots look quite different.
ReplyDeleteThe squirrels do seem quite small still, not from lack of food in this garden thought!
A couple of weeks until the talk, hopefully I can get enough stuff together to make it interesting and hopefully a bit of fun as well.
