Catching up!

This morning Skip and Rachel dropped me off in town. I went to the post office and had a breakfast wrap and then made my way to Cathedral Square where I was meeting Pearl. We used to be great mates and had some adventures and I haven’t actually seen her in years so was really looking forward to it. Took a picture of this Tudor style house when I was waiting.
Pearl and I sat in Cathedral Square for a while and then went and looked at the art exhibition in St John’s church. We enjoyed the paintings and then sat inside for refreshment and a selfie!

We had a couple of hours together and then I caught the bus out to Orton to see my sister. The Herlington Centre is really run down now with most of the shops empty, but this sign was quite bright and cheerful!
Saw these beaded webs on the way to my sisters house.

Had a good time with my sister and niece and Rose helped me sort out the little slide viewer that I had brought home from Hazel’s yesterday. Anya collected me and took me to Mike’s as he and I were going for a meal at Ibrahimi’s. We had a really nice meal as always and I am now relaxing before getting ready for the journey home tomorrow.

  1. Quite a full day again for you but nice one. The pic of you and Pearl is nice. Definitely one to print. Glad to hear Margherita and Rose a keeping well. I really must try to see them myself sometime. It’s been way too long.
Trust you to find some artsy pics on your travels. Water droplets are fascinating things. I really must try harder to get out and about again. I miss seeing all these good things!
It was great to see you and it was a great meal as always at Ibrihimis. I’m still feeling full 😊
Doesn’t seem 5 minutes since you got here and you’re on your way home tomorrow. Doesn’t time fly?

  2. I am feeling full too!
It has gone quickly in a way, but I have done quite a lot too.
All in all a good trip despite the weather, hoping it goes okay tomorrow as I will have a backpack with stuff in as well of the case to get on and off the transport!
