Rain, rain go away!

Not a lot of photo opportunities today, Anya came for me quite early and we had a wet and sometimes traffic heavy drive down to Hemel Hempstead to see Hazel, my sister in law. We had a good chat and she cooked us a very tasty and very large meal! Anya spent a lot of the day trying to update her Tomtom on the tablet, it was driving Anya nuts so just as well Hazel didn’t attempt doing it on her own, because like me she finds computer difficulties very challenging!
We walked over to see Zoe so that Anya could meet Finlay, Hazel’slatest grandchild. He had just got up when we arrived and was soon crying at the sight of strangers, but he did settle down a bit.

Most of the pics were even more blurred as he is a real fidget!
The rain had eased of a bit in Hemel but got steadily worse again on the trip home. Went to Anya’s and saw Isobel briefly and now a relaxing evening back at Rachel’s.

  3. Not a good weather day for travelling such a distance. Makes it a long day too. Bet you’re ready for a good nights sleep.
Finlay looks a bonnie little lad, and you did manage to catch him smiling at one point. I’m not keen on the sight of strangers myself 😊
A nice evening with Rachel and family is a good way to end the day.
