Early start!

This morning Darren and I set off to Skirlington at six o’clock to have a stall at the boot sale. We were there until getting on for two but it was a good day and we sold a lot of stuff. Had a few laughs with the punters as well and had our usual sandwich. When we were packed up we went to Sullivan’s for fish and chips which was very tasty. Heaving in there but we didn’t have to wait too long.
I unpacked  and got stuff put away and then did sit in the summer house for a bit. One picture I forgot from yesterday and a few today, not the best but will print them anyway.

One of a thistle for a change, looking forward to it being in full bloom.
That robin still keeps trying, such a blur, it has to fly while it tries to get a mouthful, hasn’t grasped the idea of holding on!
Just a couple more. Feeling quite tired so will close for today.

  1. Car boosters are do-lally! Six o’clock in the morning, you’re mad! Glad to hear you had a good time though, and sold a lot of stuff. Lots more room now to buy more stuff 😊
Strange how some, or most of the birds hold on to the feeders but the robins don’t. You’d assume they’d soon get the hang of it, but don’t seem too. They probably expend more energy flapping their wings than they make up for in food!
I should think you’re pretty worn out after such and early start. Think I nice lay in in the morning might be in order.

  2. It has been a long day, will try and hang on for a while before I go to bed.
It is fun watching the robing try, it sure isn’t a quitter!
