Beverley and flowers

On Tuesday evening I went for a ride to Beverley with Tina as she had a meeting there. I just had a walk along quite an attractive road as her meeting wasn’t in the centre of the town. There was an open cemetery with a boarded up chapel and one of the headstones was interesting, I can only presume the occupant was an artist!

I loved the old copper topped lamp posts.

This road had impressive houses, have a bit of a thing about the Tudor style!
This tree was massive about five feet across if not more!
Some pretty flowers on the way back.

This morning I went to a Living Well meeting, a lovely lady called Sal helps folk with anything technical. I bought more bird food on the way home and then sat on the patio. My idea was to take photos from a different angle but the results weren’t great because even with the good zoom  I was really too far away. Took some of the garden flowers while I waited to see if any birds came near me!

A couple of not too bad pics of the lady blackbird.

It was funny watching the crow, hanging around under the feeders waiting for the bits to come down!
This afternoon I have been sorting and pricing stuff for a boot sale while listening to an audio book!

  1. Some nice pics from your trip out. The copper topped lamps are lovely. I’m surprised no one has nicked them for scrap!
Tudor style houses look good, and make for good pics too. The black and white stands out so much better than our usual boring old bricks. Makes for a lot of painting though which I’m sure puts a lot of folks off.
The flower pics from your garden are really nice. Love the colours, and the angle of the tall mauve flowers who’s name escapes me. It’s good to change to a different spot to get some different angles. You’ll have to move in a bit closer another time. Love the crow waiting for some crumbs 😊

  2. That’s the foxgloves, they have been a delight this year and the bees love them.
I love the crows anyway and watching it looking up every now and again was so funny.
I really liked the lamps, I was a bit surprised they had survived too!
