Very cold, winter is coming!

Darren and I did go to the boot sale this morning as it was bright and the rain had stopped. Very cold there in the wind, not many stalls at the boot sale but we had our sandwich and looked round. My bargain of the day today was this fabulous marble rolling pin on its stand for £1.
We had a quick look round the market and I got some stuff from the nutty man and we came home. I wasn’t in the mood for gardening so got the pyrography pen out, must be well over a year since it has been used.will put a before and after picture of the items.
When Tina came in we ent out to use the leaf blower/hoover. I didn’t take a picture of the lawn before we started but will post one of it after and of the sacks full of leaves. A successful hours work!
Strictly results tonight, nowidea who will go, and the Grand Prix, will Lewis secure the title tonight?

  1. That is a bargain for a quid! I’d hate to think how much good marble ones are these days. Just don’t drop it on your foot!
I like the pyrography, but it’s never something I’ve gotten into as it involves being artistic, and we both know I’m not even close to being that. I’ll leave that sort of thing to you.
The garden looks nice in that long shot. The summer house looks teeny weeny in the background. A combination of big garden and a camera with a very good wide angle lens. I like the sacks. Hope they’re not just disposable as it seems a shame to throw them out.

  2. The net ones are proper leaf sacks and apparently will make good compost in about three years! Believe that when I see it but worth a try.
Made a change doing a bit of pyrography again, I have lots of bit that I can decorate.
