Successful spell in the garden

This morning I put a second coat of white paint on the box lids, I did the first coat last night.

The photos are the wrong way round, but you get the idea.
i got ready to do some gardening and saw these ladybirds on a plant cutting.
I made a start on the bed where the gourds had been, but then went out for a walk with Darren, Sam and George. Tina was busy so we showed Sam and George around and had a nice hot chocolate out. When Tina was home they all went off to dinner and I went back to my gardening. There was a large root to remove and it is a banked bed, so quite challenging.
I cleared a pretty big area and for once am really pleased with what I got done, a picture from each direction.

A picture of a cosmos flower and Blue to finish.

I enjoyed Strictly, now watching Casualty.

  1. The boxes look really good. Not sure what you mean about the pics being the wrong way round though. The first one is before painting and the second after.
Looks like a fair bit of work was done in the garden judging by the size of that root, bit that bed does look good. I can see why you were really chuffed with that bit of work. Hope you’ve not overdone it too much.
Strictly was good. Wonder who’ll go.

  2. The second one is before they are painted and the first one when they have been painted, then the decorating will go on top of the white.
May get some bulbs in tomorrow.
