Different beach walk.

This morning I moved a few things round in the walled garden, mainly because there were trees and other stuff in the way so that I couldn't use the rotary washing line. Reasonably bright so once I had managed to coax the new, somewhat temperamental new washing machine into action it seemed like a good idea to get washing out for a bit. I made a cake while I waited for washing as the container was bare!!

I stayed in for the morning as Tina was expecting a package, but when she was home and we had finished lunch I decided it was time for a bit of a walk. Went past the flooded park again on my way to the sea.
When Anya and Isobel were here we looked along the beach past the Floral Hall heading for Bridlington. It looked to be quite sandy and the sea was fairly well out. So that is the way I thought I would try today. It did rain a bit, then it was bright, there does seem to be an endless expanse of sandy beach. I took a lot of pictures but have just selected a few.

On Saturday we noticed a wind farm in the distance, it wasn't until I was about to head back that the cloud cleared enough for me to spot it today.
I did a bit of shopping on the way home and haven't done much this afternoon, still coughing although I am feeling much better.

  1. The walled garden looks more garden like now the container has gone and the bits are up. I do think that area is going to get a fair bit of use. It certainly would if I lived there.
That does look like a lovely beach. A big one too. You’ve got som3 great pics of it today. I particularly like the one with the silhouettes and the menacing sky. Although I’m sure it didn’t look that menacing at the time. I look forward to seeing it in person sometime.
Glad to hear you’re feeling a bit better today. Coughs do seem to linger though, and I know you suffer in particular with them anyway.

  2. That will be good for a longer walk as I get fitter, just seemed to go on forever! I couldn't move everything I wanted to because of the weight, so will get Darren or Tina to help me.
