Church interiors

This morning we stayed in and waited for packages to be delivered. I began reading a book Anya had brought up for me to try and I am enjoying it so far. Tina tried to get a bit of relaxation in, but not easy with her line of work as there is always something to do or someone to speak to. The deliveries all arrived at lunch time, including the perspex for Darren's window in the garage, so we got the car loaded up with stuff to go to the tip and set off. After the unloading we went to Atwick and Skipsea churches as Tina wanted me to take some pictures inside them for her to use. So Atwick first.

And one from outside, a very unusual building.
Then along to Skipsea.

And one from outside, much more traditional.
We then went to Morrisons at Bridlington, had some dinner and did some shopping. We called in at B & Q to get some double sided tape to fit the long waited for perspex in the garage for Darren. We did get in quite a pickle, but it is at the window now and that is where it is staying. Darren now wants a net up as he had bubble wrap making it opaque before!!
We did stop for a cup of tea at Mr Moo's on the way home and got Darren some ice cream as we had been out and about.
Death in Paradise later and charity shop tomorrow, I am really hoping I am not coughing quite so much in the morning. I bought some lozenges that taste absolutely disgusting and I don't think they have helped much either!!

  1. Some really nice pictures of the churches. I bet you are both pleased with them. The lighting worked well with them.
Glad Darren’s window is finally sorted. I know a lady who can make a net curtain for him :-)
Hope your cough is a bit better for tomorrow and the shop. Bad tasting medicine is ok if it works well, but The lozenges don’t seem to fit the bill. Worth a try though.

  2. I had worried about the light in the churches, but as you say, it was fine without flash, Flash can make the images so harsh I think,
Will see how the cough is in the morning, will go in if I can.
