This morning Tina dropped me near the post office as I needed to get cash and then was off to the hairdresser. Jodie, who does my hair was running a bit late, and it was very noisy in there today, but I am pleased with colour and cut, slightly darker shade but still very fair.
Tina came and collected me and we had lunch at Sainsbury's and then did some shopping. I have the ingredients now to make the final batch of Christmas cakes, will probably do them on Monday. I love anything copper so bought this set of cutlery for when we move.
After the hassle of the bus pass since it stopped working, the new one arrived today and is valid for five years.
Clever that you can do the application completely on line now.
Tina went off for her hair appointment and then collected me again as we had decided we would go to the Harbour Bar for dessert. And boy, what desserts they were!
We obviously had to force them down...Tina struggling with her last mouthful....
The shop near the cafe was closing down and selling everything for £1 or less. Got a couple of bits for Isobel but just had to have this bag! Those of you that know I have strong opinions about some subjects will know why I had to have this item!
Going to the theatre with Sandy later to see Di and Viv and Rose.
Really like 3 and 4 tonight. I'm sure we'll manage for one day without any tomorrow. As you know I took a few pics myself today, but no skies as spectacular as those.
ReplyDeleteYour hair looks nice. She does make a good job of it. I hope you tip her :-)
Don't think I've ever seen copper cutlery. Definitely never used it. Looks nice though.
Those desserts look gorgeous! Bet they tasted the same too. Think even I could eat one of those :-)
Hope the play was good this evening.
The desserts were delicious!
ReplyDeleteYes, I do tip the hairdresser.
The show was really very good this evening, laugh out loud funny some of the time and sad bits too. Great way to end the day.
