Cheeky friend!

I caught the bus to the studio this morning, Donna is covering this week and I had said that I would clean and fill the pots. Amy was with Donna for the morning, being collected by her nan at lunchtime. She is five now and a really cute little lass. A nice picture of her with her mum.
She had an Incredible Hunk lunch box and I was teasing her saying that they were like twins. Definite likeness!!
She was painting a butterfly hanging while I cleaned the pots and then did a bit of colouring. Then the boredom set in and Donna was busy with customers, so I said I would buy a coaster and she could paint it for me. She had been a really good girl.
She wrote on the back herself, Donna will go over her writing with a liner pen, so sweet.
When she had gone off with her nan and we had eaten our lunch I painted a little mug, a request from Mike as he had really liked them when we called in last week.

Don't worry Mike, it will look bright and shiny by the end of the week!
After that I took a slow walk home, a beautiful day today. Some gorgeous clouds which will please Rachel when she makes it on for a look.

It is strange how the changing position of the sun can change a view. These two pics have the flowers in the shade and then in the sun.

Not quite the same vantage point but the sand looks a different colour, and the sea come to that. Beautiful clear day so took one of the castle as well.
I have had a quiet afternoon, looking forward to Holby and Trust Me this evening, and building up the enthusiasm for Christmas cake making tomorrow!

  1. She looks like a lovely girl, and the coaster she did for you is great. A lovely sentiment and the back. The mug you've done for me is smashing, thank you. I'm looking forward to seeing it when it's shiny :-)
Some really nice sky pics. I love the one with just the sea and sky. You're very good at getting a level horizon. I assume that is directly out the camera and not edited. I know you rarely alter anything. I nearly always end up straightening the horizon in mine. I'm just always a bit off kilter........with most things :-) Suprising what I difference a little bit of sunshine makes in the shots. The flowers look totally different in each pic. Really like the pic of the castle. Very colourful and a great sky. Hopefully I'll get out to take some pics before too long.

  2. I think the mug should be really nice, fingers crossed, will be ready by the end of the week.
The photos were as I took them, that difference in the pictures with the flowers were literally only minutes apart!
You will get so much pleasure when you get out and take a bunch of fabulous photos.
