Apologies!

For those that can't be doing with sunset pictures I make my apologies, took over 50 shots last night, but you with be pleased to hear that I am not posting them all!

This morning I caught a reasonably early bus into town as I hadn't been to the pool at all this week, Annoyingly, when I got there it was closed due to it being flooded yesterday! Not such a bright morning but the south bay looked calm and attractive, not got that horizon quite straight Mike!
I had a drink in town before catching the bus home, trying to stay off the ankle as much as possible. I have done quite a bit of sorting things out and putting them in the right place, something I always mean to keep to but somehow never manage it!
Anya thoughtfully sent flowers on hearing that Colonel was no longer with us. She, Isobel and Louis all liked him and she thought that we could do with cheering up. There are stocks which are a lovely scent, but the striking flowers are the beautiful, antique looking, roses.

This afternoon I thought I would have a play with the new pyrograhy tool, this is a picture of work in progress as I have quite a lot more to do. No prizes for guessing the subject matter.
Tina and I are both at the hairdressers tomorrow, but nothing else special planned.

  1. You can post as many sunset pics as you like, I never get fed up of seeing them. I particularly like the last one of that batch.
Had to chuckle to myself that the pool had been closed due to flooding :-) Of all the places that could handle a bit of extra water you'd think a swimming pool would be at the top of the list! Damn annoying when you go somewhere specially like that and it's closed when you get there!
That was lovely of Anya to send the flowers, very thoughtful. Didn't really know what stocks were, but I do now.
The latest pyrography looks really good. It would appear you're getting on well with the new iron. How you manage to keep those lines so straight I have no idea. I just know I'd struggle with a pencil let alone with a hot iron! I'll look forward to seeing the finished version of it.

  2. Much harder keeping it straight when going against the grain!
Took quite a lot of pics again tonight and it looked like it would be very dull at first.
They were waiting for an electrician at the pool, pity they don't find a plumber to sort the leaking shower while they are at it!
