When I was out feeding the birds I noticed we have a very attractive dahlia in the back garden, I can’t remember what I planted where these days,
Darren got the card out of the camera to check for activity, sadly we hadn’t been feeding a hedgehog the last couple of nights, it had been Milo the neighbours elderly cat! I haven’t been able to successfully upload the videos so no evidence for now!
We watched the beginning of the Grand Prix anadromous then I went out in the summer house for a while. Was doing a puzzle but did take the good camera out just in case. Will add what I can to the blog W but it may decided enough is enough!
Took lots of this very young baby robin.
A blue tit.
A pigeon up on the roof!
A not sure what sort of baby bird!
There was a robin flitting back and forth to a feeder as they do not land but try to catch some food ‘ one the wing’ so to speak. So I got an awful lot of gone bird pictures but managed two with it in the frame!
Some flora to finish, but before that will say that we have placed a large concrete brick in the main body of the hedgehog house and put just a little food in, enough to tempt Milo. We will see if that stops him getting to it!
Glad to see you got some boot sale bargains again. It’s the fun of looking that I enjoy, when I go that is, which hasn’t been for a very long time.
ReplyDeleteShame the food thief turned out to be a cat rather than a hedgehog, but one might turn up. You’ve got some nice wildlife pics on here tonight. I particularly like the young robin. Always a nice variety of things to take pics of in your garden.
We do enjoy the boot sale, but stayed masked today as it was pretty busy and not a lot of people worry too much about social distancing.
DeleteI have ordered some proper hedgehog food that isn’t interesting to cats allegedly.
Noce to take some pictures of the wildlife, haven’t done that so much recently.
