Just the edges so far, may do a bit more this evening
Today I have done some chores in the house, not too many, and then, as it was a lovely day and the knee felt a little easier I decided to walk to the sea and have pensioners fish and chips! Some pictures of the sea, the third one looked very brown and was over the new steps!
The flowers that I received just before new year are open now and looking beautiful.
On the way out I saw that a bird cage I was interested in the second hand shop was still there. I enquired the other day and it was reasonably priced for me! Have had quite a few bits from him. On the way home I weakened and bought it.
I have taken the ribbons and little fairy lights off, a nice foliage plant in there I think!
That puzzle looks a lot prettier, and easier than the last one. Almost a pleasure to do.
ReplyDeleteGlad you got out for a walk to the sea. A nice bit of fish and chips by the sea is always a good tonic. You can’t beat it. Shame the walk there and back couldn’t be more enjoyable at the moment.
The flowers are really pretty. They’d make good subject matter for a nice watercolour painting. Not that you need many more craft projects to do.
You must be one of the best customers of that second hand shop. I’m sure the cage will look so much better with a plant in it than garish ribbons and fairy lights! Some people do have weird tastes!
I often look at the decorative cages at garden centres, quite a stiff price usually. Love the shoe of this one, not that’s needed anything else to fill my rooms!
ReplyDeleteI had thought want a nice painting the flowers would make, maybe I will feel inspired tomorrow.
Will enjoy this puzzle I am sure.
