Birds and moon

Won’t waffle on a lot today. Let the photos speak for themselves. This afternoon I went in the summer house for a while and took some bird picture. This evening I have been trying to photograph the moon!
The last couple were later than the others, struggled to keep the camera still even when using the monopod.

  1. Some cracking pics! Love the starling at the feeder. Like the way it’s head is in focus and the rest isn’t. The way the flapping wing has come out is great! It’s been a good day for photographing the birds. A little sunshine makes all the difference.
From sunshine to moonshine, not easy getting good shots of the moon without an extremely solid tripod and a cable release for the shutter. You’ve done really well there. I quite like the glow around it, it makes it very surreal.

  2. I thought the starling picture was a bit special. Pleased with the moon pictures, did struggle a bit keeping still enough!
It was good to see them in sunshine, makes the colours brighter.
