Short slow walk!

This morning Tina and I were entertained by activity in the garden. One of the coconut shells I filled was on the ground, the squirrels my have bitten through the string. But the interesting part is that the grows were eating from it and the seagulls were circling! We haven’t had seagulls land in the garden before but this time two were down and having a right royal battle (no inference intended!) picking it up and generally fighting for supremacy. It was better than watching the tv and started our day with a smile!
Tina had a meeting at a care home on the sea front and I asked if I could have a lift and endeavour to walk home. It was a lovely bright day although the wind was very cold. Had a hot chocolate and took a couple of pictures of the sea.
The walk home was painfully slow as well as painful, but made it and managed to get some meat at the butchers on the way home.
The rest of the day has been taken up with trying to complete the sudoku puzzle sheet so that I can progress to the jigsaw of it! Had to draw a centre grid as I had made mistakes and it was becoming impossible to see where I had erred. Have now completed it and will be sorting out the edge pieces of the jigsaw this evening.

  1. Sounds like the homemade fat balls are a great success. Probably won’t last long with the seagulls joining in!
Glad you got out to see the sea, and for your chocolate fix! Looks a bit deserted, but very nice. Shame you had to suffer on the way home. Hopefully the little slow treks out are helping keep things moving rather than hindering recovery.
That puzzle would have been in the bin by now if it were mine! I knew you’d keep at it until you cracked it though. Stubborn isn’t a strong enough word 😊 Bet the actual jigsaw will be done before you get to bed. Could be a late night 😊

  2. I think the puzzle will be nearly as big a challenge as the paper version was, but we will see.
It was quite cold by the sea, so not a lot of people about, was a lovely bright day though so good to be out in it.
A trait of Taureans is stubbornness!
