Cats and a poorly bus!

This morning I was up and conscious quite early as I was expecting a call from the self assessment physio department at 7.45 am. A lady called Michelle phoned just after 7.45 and was very pleasant. Most of what she said I do already but she said she would send some exercises in the post. I said I would like to see somebody and she has added me to the list bus said the wait is about fourteen weeks! So, basically keep on as I am and wait for the flare up to settle down, fingers crossed.
Pandora flopped out on my foot stool and as you can tell from the photo only her tail was moving!
I little while ago I ordered a 1954 film called Life with the Lyons. Used to hear them on the radio when I was a child, so it should be interesting, never seen the film.
I spent a bit of time this morning making up a photo calendar, no pictures as the recipient does go on the blog occasionally! I made a trip to the factory shop as they had a January offer on, spend £20 and get £5 off. I topped up with some bird food and toiletries.
Later this afternoon Tina and I decided to go for coffee at the garden centre. While I was waiting for her to finish a phone call I was watching the cats, haven’t often managed pictures of them together.
When we were on our way to the garden centre we were following a broken down bus being towed by a truck, not a sight you see every day. We had a slow journey round the twisty roads!
Had a take away meal with Darren and Tina which was nice.
The flowers that I received a few days ago from Rachel and family are now opening up and quite lovely.
This evening I may start colouring a dot marked picture, should end up being a painting by Van Gogh! Don’t hold your breath thinking you might see the finished article.

  1. Well at least you weren’t up early on a wild goose chase. At least they rang on time. A shame they weren’t able to help more, but it’s good to know you’re already doing everything you can. 14 weeks is a long time to wait to see someone though! Hopefully the worst of it clears up in far less than 14 weeks!
Pandora seems to be guarding yourself phone. That’s good of her. The tail wagging is just so you know she’s still alert and not sleeping on the job. Think that’s the first pic of seen of the two cats together. They look almost friendly sitting there looking at each other. If only that were true. One day maybe.
Glad you got out for a while, even though your journey was a little slow. Under normal circumstances you might have been able to walk quicker, but maybe not at the minute.
I’ve been trying to work out what picture the dot art will end up as, but not having much luck. You’ll have to finish it so I know what it is 😊

  2. An interesting day in some ways, I am feeling a little more like getting on with things, maybe tomorrow I will actually do some proper sorting!
I don’t think I have managed a photo of the cats together before, friendly is a way off I fear!
