Yay, what drink to have first!

A couple of morning sky shots, not spectacular but nice to open the curtains to.

When I looked into the front garden I could see that a couple of crows were quite close to Charlie, at first I thought he was thinking about chasing them then we realised that Charlie was eating something he had caught and the crows were waiting for any leftovers! It had us entertained for a while.
This morning June picked me up and took me for a latte at the Crafty Coffee cafe. It had been the idea of Jacky for as treat after my water challenge. Jacky is poorly and couldn’t meet me herself. We had a lovely chat, an enjoyable latte and shared a piece of cake! I walked home and after lunch stayed in as Tina and I were both expecting packages to be delivered, and the gasman was due at some point to look at the gas fires.
My package arrived, another gift, been lucky this week. This time from Mike, a present for the end of the challenge as he knows I like to have a hot chocolate when I go to the dog walker cafe.
I made up a mug earlier and it is really lovely. The gasman arrive, didn’t seem to think there is a problem with the fires, so time will tell on that one.
When Darren and Tina were home I went out for a walk although it was dark and pretty cold. I went to the sea front took a couple of pictures in the dark!

Then I had a chilly pensioners fish and chips listening to the sea before I walked home.
Not sure if I have gone off tea or not, maybe I will have to wean myself back onto it! Just got to collect the sponsor money now and hopefully send a nice cheque to WaterAid.
The last Victorian House this evening, it has been a good series. The

  1. Those morning sky shots are really nice. I’d be happy with a view like that every morning.
Glad that Charlie appears to be back on form. Not sure the local wildlife will feel the same!
You’ve done really well with the water challenge, so a few drink treats were definitely in order. You’ll soon get back in the swing of good old fashioned cuppas again. I’m sure WaterAid will be happy with the outcome too.
Great way to end the day by the sea with fish and chips. I really do envy you for that 😊

  2. At least Charlie didn’t try to catch a crow for dessert!
Seems strange to have to decide on what to drink, will try and keep more water on the menu than before though.
Enjoyed my chilly walk and impromptu tea, it was a good way to finish the day.
