I walked to the URC church hall for the first meeting of another set of Living Well talks and discussions. Quite a few people turned up and it was a lively discussion. After that I walked down to the sea front, damp and grey today, really Debenhams winter morning.
Walking back via the butchers I spotted these oil patterns on the road, something I rarely see now and such a common sight when I was younger.
Apart from that I haven’t done a great deal, did go out for a short walk again this afternoon, as much as to make my step total as anything.
I will watch the song for Europe program tonight, although the thought that we would get any points at all in the present climate is doubtful!
Will try and do a bit more of interest tomorrow!
A lazy day is good now and then. You’re normally busy with something, so it makes a pleasant change. Although your idea of a lazy day and mine are probably two different things. You’ve still fitted in a lot of steps and managed to take part in a meeting. Beats me into a cocked hat 😊
ReplyDeleteI like the oil slicks. Not good for the environment I suppose, but they look pretty. As you say, they used to be a common sight in ye olden days when cars were way more prone to leak than these days. Isn’t technology wonderful?
Enjoy some feet up time tonight with your programs and I’m sure you’ll find more to do tomorrow.
Not sure that I always think that technology is wonderful, but what would we do without it now?
ReplyDeleteWill be voting on our song for Eurovision soon!
