We managed to move quite a few others working yesterday and today.
After that I went round to Sarah’s house where I was going to have a reflexology session. Never had reflexology before and it was really very interesting and she said I had a lovely ‘spongy’ bladder due to drinking a lot of water! She gave me one or two tips but didn’t find anything too drastic.
When I got home a parcel had arrived. The free gift was two casserole pots and from the illustration they looked proper pan size. They are actually like toy cooker ones but still very cute!
Tina and I went out this afternoon and visited two different garden centres. At Cherry Lane in Beverley we had lunch and got some gravel for me to put in the bases of potting trays. At the second one we had tea and cake and we got some summer bulbs and a very cute fairy house!
When we got home I went and checked the mushroom kit and was delighted to see that I had actually got some!
I will be trying them tomorrow.
This evening I finished shortening some trousers that I started last night and have packed my case ready for weekend as I have quit a full day tomorrow.
That’s a really nice pic of the Rev with her spoils underfoot. You did some good work between you. You’ll get that garden conquered yet.....maybe!
ReplyDeleteThose casserole pots really are tiny. Even smaller than I thought they’d be after speaking to you on the phone. You could make individual rice puddings in them 😊 A very naughty bit of advertising though. I bet they had a few complaints to deal with.
The broccoli house is great. You’ll have to expand the fairy garden before very long with all these new houses appearing! Can’t believe you bought bulbs while you were out!
Bet the mushrooms will taste good, and I’d bet you’ll have another helping after your weekend away.
We will get there eventually with the garden, nibble away at it bit by bit.
ReplyDeleteThe pots are tiny but rally very cute, I am sure I can find a use for them!
There were a few different fruit and veg fairy houses but the broccoli one was definitely the best.
Summer bulbs, can’t have a colourless garden after the spring flowers have died off.
