Sea and water feature

This morning I wanted to go to the butcher but took the longer route and went to look at the sea first. Had a hot chocolate at the dog walker cafe.
Took some pics of the sea and sky, quite a misty morning.

The local council have been busy planting up spring flowers so things are looking quite colourful.
I haven’t felt too energetic today but did decide to go up and do a bit in the garden. I unpacked the water feature I bought some weeks ago, it is sooo cute!
I added water to three mor of the ‘bricks’ that turn into compost. They will be ready to use by tomorrow. Then I potted on some sweet peas that I planted a while ago into their final pot. It will stay in the greenhouse for now.
I sorted through the seed packets and then did sow a few into toilet roll centres again. All in all I was glad I went out and got some job done. Just a church picture again to finish.

  1. I think that dog walker cafe would miss you now if you didn’t call in. You’ll have to get a dog 😊
Back to the beach looking wintery again. Surprising the difference a little bit of sun makes.
They do seem to look after public flower beds up north. I remember the park in Scarborough was always colourful and well manicured. We’re lucky if we get a few daisies and dandelions!
I like your water feature. You’ll have to get it connected up and flowing. You’ll probably find the cats drinking out of ieat then! I have to agree, it is very cute.
At least you didn’t overdo it in the garden today. Trouble is you have to get a couple of bits done each day or you’ll never keep up with it ☹️

  2. It did get brighter this afternoon but it was very dull and wintry looking by the sea this morning.
I enjoyed dong the lighter jobs outside and good to get some stuff planted in the greenhouse.
I am sure the cats will be drinking from the water feature when it is up and running, any water but that in their dish is tastier!
