I caught the bus into Hull just before 9.30 am. I had an offer to use in Debenhams and quite like a wander round the city. A hung lass got on and sat opposite me, I love her sweat shirt and asked her about it, she had paid £10 for it in Primark. So my first port of call was Primark and I found it and got myself one. It put a smile on my face, may not have the same effect on others but so be it!
A picture especially for Tina now, although sadly the door looks red, not the vibrant pink it actually was. Tina just loves anything pink, especially if it is specifically for ladies!
Near to the loos was this area, what a great idea!
Had to have one shoot of a great building.
This afternoon I have been to the local optician and had an eye test. That was long overdue and I have ordered now glasses. Have a few days to get over the shock and get ready to hand over the money!
Tina got me a couple of bunches of daffodils a few days ago, just closed buds, now they are in full bloom.
Going to have a go an making a painted card for a friend this evening.
That flower does look pretty damn huge! I think the last one I had was brilliant red, but that one looks pretty good too.
ReplyDeleteThe shirt is very you, which anyone that knows you will agree with straight away π You just need a big plaster to cover the sign on your forehead now to go with it π Again, those in the know will understand!
They should swap the colours on the loo doors just to see if people actually take note of the outlines. I remember going to Butlins donkeys years ago, and in one of the clubs the toilets were signed as Laddies and Lasses. Was fun watching how quickly the women came running out π
I like the pic of the building. Looks a pretty nice day.
Sounds like you’re on a mission to boost the local economy in Hornsea. First the dentist and now the opticians. If only Debenhams opened a beach there you’d be sorted π
Actually meant branch, but beach sort of fits too.
ReplyDeleteYes, not a bad auto correction! I was just a couple of hours in Hull, so longer on the bus, but I quite enjoyed the trip. It was lovely and bright while I was out.
ReplyDeleteNice to support the local shops and businesses where possible.
May wear the sweatshirt tomorrow!
