This morning was very frosty and a lot of it hasn’t cleared all day.
This afternoon Tina and I went to Mr Moo’s for lunch and then, as it was a lovely day, Tina took us for a drive in the countryside. We stopped at Barmston and had a look at the sea from a different viewpoint.
Then we went to Lissett and stopped at this great memorial. There is a wind farm in the airfield and they all have crew members names.
Then we stopped at Burton Agnes where there is a great duck pond.
We had to stop at lights on the way home, they are laying a now footpath along the side of the road.
We had a drink at the garden centre as we were passing, next time I go somewhere I can have tea or coffee as today is the last day of my water challenge.
We did come through some fog at the latter part of the trip but yesterday but you can see from the photos that mostly it was a lovely weather afternoon.
The squirrel is great 😊 That can’t have been easy to do. It’s sooooo cute. You really are getting good at doing those. I wonder what’ll be next on the list.
ReplyDeleteIt has been a frosty old day today, but it looks like you’ve made the most of it with a pleasant trip out with the Rev. That’s a lovely memorial. Made for some good pics along with a different sea scene too. Not too much walking either, which is a good thing in the slippery weather.
You’ve done really well with the water challenge. I knew you’d make it look easy. Bet you’re gagging for a nice tasty drink 😊☕️
The squirrel did turn out okay in the end, it is an interesting craft and I don’t stab muself quite so often now!
ReplyDeleteVery enjoyable trip out, lots of country lanes and plenty to see.
I did really like the memorial statue, the names of the men lost were on the bodies of the statue.
I am looking forward to a change of drink, although will try to still drink more water than I have done previously.
Diplodocus next....that’d be a challenge 😊
