Quick trip to Bridlington

The amaryllis I got for Christmas has got four buds, first one should be open soon.
Looking out of the back door I spotted them webs, quite a contrast to the crow bars!
It was the U3A monthly meeting this morning so I walked up to the Floral Hall. Nice sky over the sea today.
The talk today was about Tai Chi and quite interesting, she even had three of her students give a bit of a demonstration.
After lunch I hitched a ride with Tina as she had a meeting in Bridlington. Only had an hour or so there but enjoyed a walk along the front and stopped for cheesy chips!

Walking back to our meeting place I saw this huge piece of kit, in a boatyard so presumably for moving large boats?
A couple more pics, one of a little seabird, turned away from me but great orange legs! The other was the misty wind turbines in the distance.

We had a good drive home. My legs are aching today so not a lot planned, it is the final of Icons tonight which I am looking forward to.

  1. Some really great pics tonight. I think the crowbar shot is brilliant. You really do have an eye for a good pic! The sky pic and the Bridlington pics are good too. Certainly a good day out with the camera and cheesy chips too. Perfect!
Hopefully you have your feet up now relaxing.

  2. I must admit I like that picture, odd combination but it works!
I enjoyed the chilly walk along the front, nice to see a different stretch of sea too.
    Definitely a resting evening.
