New pan and housework

Today I have spent quite a lot of time doing household chores. I have to be in the right frame of mind and as it was gloomy and damp this morning that helped me decide! I had just come upstairs when the doorbell rang, it was my new pan, only ordered it after I had seen friends using one on Monday, so a good delivery!it is a multi cooker and I did do eggs and mushrooms in it earlier to try it out!
I went out briefly this afternoon, I have been thinking of making a cot quilt and bought some fat quarters a few weeks ago. I went to the local sewing shop to pick a material for the back and it get some wadding. I got a fabric that blended in well  so now I have just got to get my act together and design and make it.
There as a sale in the shop and I spotted this otter material, I have a lot of material already and have no particular  plans for it, but just got half a metre of each and will get around to making something with it some time!

Tina is away for a couple of days so had dinner with Darren before he went off to archery.
Hopefully will have a slightly more varied day tomorrow.

  1. It almost sounds like household chores are fun....almost!
The new multi cooker looks really good, specially as I know how much you paid for it. A definite bargain. I think the courgette plants are a must this year 😊
I like your choice of colours and patterns for the quilt. I’m sure you’ll soon have it designed and thrown together. You’re an old hand at it now. It’ll all come back to you once you get started. The otter material had to be had, regardless of whether you have a use for it or not, although I’m sure you’ll come up with something good for it.
Might be a varied day tomorrow quilting and designing otter things 😊

  2. I think I will get good use from the multi cooker and hopefully healthy eating too.
I am not sure if I will make a start on the quilt tomorrow, the great outdoors may be too much of a temptation if it is nice.
