On the way back I almost bumped into one of the HUG volunteers, Glenys, who I support d with her Victorian Market before Christmas. We went and had a coffee. That is three I have had since I came off the water and I haven’t enjoyed any of them!
Last night I designed another notelet, this time with a butterfly.
After lunch I went out to go and catch up with friends, Sarah and David. On the way there I went to have a look at the folly, which I really like and the sun was catching the side of it.
I had a lovely couple of hours with them, hearing about their holiday and generally catching up. It has been a time for unexpected gifts lately and Sarah and David had got me some palm tree seeds. If they grow as well as the coffee plants I may have to move out!
Talking of plants I had a mushroom growing kit for Christmas and have set it up today, will need to check in a week to see if anything is happening, I will keep you posted.
Walking back from my visit the sky was looking pretty good.
I had ordered a new printer cartridge and when I tried printing the notelets I found that I had put the ‘designed by’ line in the wrong place. Have used a lot of ink printing unusable ones...... will have another go tomorrow.
Well it’s good to hear this visit to the dentist was a lot easier than the last. I remember the journey you had to go through for that one!
ReplyDeleteI do like that notelet, it’s a nice design. It took me a minute to work out why the label was in the wrong place, so I can see how easy it was to make the mistake. Still very annoying though after you’ve printed a few!
I really hope those palm trees grow well. I like the look of them. They’ll look great in the garden too in about 50 years time 😊 Hopefully the mushrooms will grow a little bit quicker, and taste good too.
Love the colour of the sky in the last pic. Even the wonky aerial adds to it 😊
It is good to have a local dentist and not too expensive considering it is a private practice.
ReplyDeleteI was convince I was right with the design, wasn’t until I folded one that I realised!
The seeds need planting in spring so will leave it for a while then give it a try.
