Sea, craft and new glasses

I walked to the sea via the shops, a pleasant morning, not quite so cold. I liked the patterns the foam was making today, always something different to see by the sea!

A dramatic one again on the walk home.
After lunch I walked up to Jeans house where the monthly craft group was taking place. I had decided to take my water colours with me and make a start on another notelet. I let one of the ladies pick what butterfly to paint, may not have been the most sensible idea I have had.
While I was at the group I got a message to say that my new glasses were ready. So, instead of walking back I accepted a lift so that I could nip indoors, collect my purse and get to the opticians. A lot of money to part with but I like them.
New series of Shetland starts tonight, will probably be a bit grim, but a great program.

  1. Looks like a nice day. The sea always seems to have something new to photograph. Really like the dramatic sky shot. I would say it’s one to be printed, but not sure if it would do it justice. Possible better on here to be honest.
You’re on a roll with those notelets. I think that one is my favourite so far. I think Margherita would appreciate a selection of them.
The new glasses look nice. You’re getting good at those selfies too 😊

  2. It was lovely by the sea as usual, we did have some sunshine today which was good too.
I didn’t have the leaves on the notelet at first but as the butterfly is so. Pale it needed something stronger behind it.
The glasses took under a week to arrive which was pretty good going.
