Sea and craft group

I went out with Tina just before 10 am, she dropped me off near the Floral Hall. It was bitterly cold with the east wind but I wandered along and took some pictures, another dull day but I am pleased with the clarity and the zoom on this new camera.

The foam that you can see in the first shot was blowing around like snow. I took a lot of shots with the zoom trying to focus on the gulls without too much success, my hands were getting very cold by then, any excuse!

I had gone out early to go in and make a reservation at the Swiss Cottage restaurant as I had messaged yesterday and they said there was someone available from 10.30 am. A locked door, no bell and the answer phone when I tried calling to say I was outside. Will go down this evening when they are open before we go and have a meal to celebrate Darren's birthday.
I called into the shop on the way home to get some nice biscuits for the craft group this afternoon. Five ladies came and we had a very pleasant time, they left before Darren got home so he could get his car parked okay.

When Tina came in we had cake and Darren opened his cards and presents. We are off out for a meal later.
I will finish off with the card that I made at the craft session last night. I enjoyed making the background papers, the card blanks were waiting for us. We stamped and painted the figures. Probably not a card I would make again but as I said I enjoyed making more backing paper and this time we just used one coloured ink pad and applied it in different ways.
