Lazy day

Not a great deal to report today. I did take a picture of the sky last night but the windows at the back of the house are very dirty and I don't think they will be cleaned that often either. Maybe some nice clean summer rain will clear them a bit!
I did go out reasonably early and took more bags to the charity shop, posted some letters and got a couple of bits at the shop. Also called in to see Andy at the second hand shop as I want to change my bed and asked if he had anyone that might want an electric one.
Carried on sorting but have also been doing puzzles downstairs waiting for callers and deliveries while Tina was out. The fence guy turned up at 11 am but wasn't staying, we had a look in the garden for him to get an idea of what he needed to get in the way of supplies. I haven't taken the camera anywhere today so the photos on todays blog now will be from the phone. The garden tiller arrived, we won't be using it until the ground dries out a bit, but it will be a great help then.
I was still downstairs for a bit so sat down with my puzzle book and Blue sat on me for a while, difficult to get her fully in the picture when she was spread out on my lap!
The fence men came back this afternoon, just a picture of the van, will take one in the garden tomorrow if I remember.
Apart from that just a bit of sorting, another bag full ready to go, so finding some stuff to reduce the load in the house!
Tina and I went and did a shop at Tesco this evening so now we all have an extra Easter egg!!
On a craft session tomorrow so should have something a bit different to put on the blog.

  1. I really love the first pic. It’s just great! The composition is spot on and the dirty wet glass just adds to it. Looks a bit like a giant cross in the foreground.
Bit of a “bitty” day for you then with the sitting around waiting for stuff. The tiller should help you out no end in the garden. You might even enjoy doing the flower beds now.....maybe. Talking of beds, what sort of new one are you thinking of getting?
The extra Easter egg you’ve got is probably the one I didn’t have, so it doesn’t count calorie wise :-)

  2. I did like that first picture despite the condition of the window! Can see what you mean about the cross too.
Looking forward to getting those flower beds under control with a bit less physical effort!
Trying not to pig out on the extra egg.
