Concert pics and pottery
Some pics of yesterday evening sent on to me by Darren.
Thanks for those Darren, they turned out really well.
This morning I walked up to the studio, had been going to paint the plate from camp, but they were expecting a group in so I cleaned and filled the pots. Made sure they were fully filled and checked all of them so they should be okay when I go in on Tuesday so will be able to paint the plate then.
I bought some squirrels to paint while we were at the camp (held at a pottery suppliers) so thought I would put a base colour on two ready for painting next time.
Sandy decided to take a picture of me applying the base coat.
I collected the fairy house and walked home from the studio. Cute little ornament, I am sure I will find a happy recipient if I don't keep it!
Not panning to do a lot more today now, actually am feeling really chilly. Very cloudy too so don't think there will be a visible sunset this evening.
If he took those pics on a mobile phone, then he did very well under those lighting conditions!
ReplyDeleteThe fairy house is lovely. Very bright and colourful. Talking of colour, are the squirrels going to be foreign grey ones or proper red ones? :-)
No sunsets again tonight. That’ll be because you were too busy gallivanting with Darren! Looks like it was a very good evening though.
I thought I would do one grey and one red, Need a new colour cartridge for the printer as I want to have good reference pictures.

I thought he took some great pics, we were in a fairly good position, near the front.
