Busy Potty Pensioner!!

I was at the hotel before 7 am this morning as Tina was off to a breakfast prayer meeting and took me on the way there. No sunsets lately but the sky over the south bay was pretty this morning.

I had a really good session in the pool, I have enjoyed this membership greatly. The colour had gone when I came out but the view was clear.
They are really gutting the house opposite, will be like a new place when it is done.
I have been sorting stuff to take on the trip to Peterborough. Went to town again this afternoon on the bus and took the trolley so that I could collect the pottery camp pieces and the squirrel I have painted since we got back The gingerbread house plate.
The Christmas plate.
The three hearts that were mainly just brown before firing.
I really love the baubles!
And of course one of the squirrels that I bought while we were at the camp. This one grey, the next one red.
I walked home from the studio, very slowly as the pain in my ankle has been pretty bad today. Have to admit to being a tad fed up with it just lately!

  1. You were an early bird this morning. Good time for swimming though as normal people have more sense! A much better chance of getting the pool to yourself. Worth going out anyway if only to see those lovely skies.
The pottery is all great! I love the plates, perfect with mince pies on at Christmas. The baubles will look lovely on your tree. The effect of the white on them is like snow, or even icing. Either way I like it. And the squirrel turned out really well considering you couldn’t really see the paint you were putting on it. I shall look forward to seeing the red one once it’s done. The hearts are great. I love the effect on them. It would look good on a vase too.
Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow.

  2. I am pleased with all the pottery really, I like the Christmassy plates, they will look attractive with nibbles on.
I did have the pool to myself and it was lovely and warm too, stayed in for about forty minutes today.
