I went out before 10 am and it was quite chilly, but when the sum came out it turned really warm again. I wanted to go to the Save and Weigh shop to get some of their birdseed and some other bits. I also wanted to go and check out a table top fridge that Darren had spotted in one of the second hand shops. The fridge is fine, and Tina and I have been to collect it this afternoon. It is downstairs at the moment, bringing it up here is one of Darren's jobs when he gets home from work! I took a picture of the McDonalds as it has a rather understated green sign and is down one of the side streets in town, so a bit off the beaten track.
The sea just glistened in the morning sunlight, it has actually clouded over again now, but it looked glorious earlier.
The photo doesn't really to it justice, but you get the idea.
I walked back a different way and saw this mural advertising the cliff tram, really eye catching as you turned the corner.
Right, best get started on the drawers!!
I'd missed this entry, and I bet you missed that water over the weekend. Nice to get back to it isn't it?
ReplyDeleteVery nice Mike, loved my weekend, but I am a home bird at heart, and when you can wander a little way from the shops and see such a sight it is great.
