Our nearest post box is emptied once a day at 9 am and I had a card to post so walked down to the post office and of course came back via the sea,
Yesterday evening I started knitting another hat, I bought the wool when the family were here after Christmas!
I got lunch early as Tina needed to be out and then I went into the garden for a while and cleared an area by the wall which used to get like a jungle but is under better control now. I went down the road again as I wrote a letter and got it in the post for tomorrow mornings collection. The ‘elephants ears’ are in flower in the front garden.
Earlier this evening I sewed up the opening on the throw I have been making. Maybe I will do the quilting on it tomorrow or maybe not!
Will do a couple more rows of knitting this evening.
Oh dear, you’re not safe to be let out on your own! Still a muddy bum isn’t too bad I suppose. Could have been worse. I would have still laughed though if I’d have been there 😄
ReplyDeleteI wish posting a letter here involved a walk by the sea. I’d probably write more. Looks very grey, but pleasant.
You have so many things on the go at once. Quilts, gardening, miniature things and now knitting hats as well. I struggle to make myself do one constructive thing at a time! You certainly don’t like sitting around.
I bet you do the quilting tomorrow, along with gardening, knitting hats etc 😄
May very well work on the throw, especially if the weather takes a turn for the worse!
ReplyDeleteI do like the colourful hats, may not be wearing this one much until next winter!
