Darren and went and sat in the car while he finished looking around. I did manage to get a brand new iPad case for a pound.
Darren had an archery competition at Burton Constable today and I had been going to go with him but as the leg was painful I decided to stay at home. Tina was working so I decided to get on with some of the greenhouse pieces. I started with a hanging plant!
Then I started to prepare some plants that involved sticking paper leaves on to green wire for starters. Believe me, it was enough to test anyones patience! But I persevered and got three assembled.
I went into the garden to turn the Bird Buddy off and put it in the store and took a picture of actual plants while I was there!
I watched the Grand Prix with Darren and Tina and then Tina cooked a really lovely Mothers Day dinner for me.
I finished off the last, and tiniest of the plants for the greenhouse and then packed it away.
Watching ‘Grace’ now and will try sleeping in the bed tonight.
A little less painful is better than nothing I suppose, but it sounds like you’ll have to stay off it for a while yet. Good job you have lots of the model greenhouse still to do ๐ The plants look really great. It’s just a shame they are so fiddly and hard to do. It’ll all be worth it in the end, and I’m sure you’ll then be hoping you get a similar pressie to do again!
ReplyDeleteLike the iPad case. A bargain for a pound too! Worth going just for that, and breakfast of course. Shame you didn’t get to go with Darren, but there’ll be plenty more opportunities once the leg is a bit better.
Dinner cooked for you. You could get used to that. Still, Mother’s Day is special and you have to be made a fuss of.
Hope you manage the whole night in the bed, and I bet Pandora does too ๐
I do get frustrated with the fiddly bits but when I persevere and the items look pretty much as they should it is a good feeling,
ReplyDeleteFingers crossed for staying put tonight.
