I had seen a couple of books on the buy one get one half price stall and went back to buy them. They are different to what I have been reading lately and looked interesting.
I walked back to the bus station via Queensgate and this sign made me smile as Chill and Chat was the name I come up with in Hornsea for a cafe during Covid.
I caught the bus up to Werrington and then made a surprise fleeting visit to see Rachel and the family, got to see four out of five which was pretty good going! Then Skip drove me to Anya’s. I had a short while with them before Anya took me back to spend the evening with Rose. Isobel got a soap making kit for Christmas and gave me some soaps which look and smell lovely.
Have spent the evening with Rose and we will visit her mum together tomorrow.
It was really nice to meet up with you for lunch and a chat. The weather was actually quite pleasant too for a change.
ReplyDeleteThe books do look a bit different to your normal reads, but if you don’t try you never know.
I’ve seen that Chill and Chat sign lots of times and never associated it with the cafe, even though I remember it from the signs you did. You should sue them for copyright 😊
Sounds like yesterday was a catchup with people day for you. Bet that soap smells lovely. Maybe Isobel is trying to tell you something 😄
Hope today goes well for you.
Lunch was lovely thank you, and yes nice to do some quick catch ups as well.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to try the different books.
