Homeward bound again!

This morning we had breakfast with Anya before setting off for home. I bought a jigsaw and a sorting box and Tina and Anya decided I had to have the sweet jar! Oops, just realised I didn’t take that photo and now I have the cat on my lap, so maybe tomorrow.
As we went through Borne we passed this hall, you can just about see that it is Derby and Joan!
Sorry, bridge pics this time, but before that the heavens opened just as we had a comfort stop.

Tina has been busy since we got back with special services etc to organise.
I have unpacked and did a few chores and unpacked the hedge trimmer and got it assembled.it is heavier than I thought but have charged the battery ready to give it a whirl!
I won’t be late to bed!

  1. Another trip down south comes to an end. Hopefully it’ll be a bit longer before your next one.
I’ve seen that Derby and Joan Hall many times when I’ve been out to Bourne. You don’t see them too often now.
Thought there might be a few bridge pics this evening 😊 You’ve been over that a few times over the years.
I’m sure the Rev will be a bit busier than usual due to the death of the queen. A few extra services. No doubt you’ll be busy doing chores and gardening, specially now you’ve got the sharp pointy thing! Looks like it’ll be fun to use. Fingers crossed, assuming you still have any after using it! 😊

  2. I think with the ongoing health problems for my sister that ai may be ‘down south’ again before too long.
May try the new gadget tomorrow.
