I went over to see Bel for a short while this morning as I didn’t see her last week and she had n point ent on Friday this week. I did a bit of sorting and got some more stuff ready for the charity shop, it doesn’t open on a Monday so will get some more stuff over there tomorrow.
After lunch I took the saved tablet blister packs to a local estate agent that has a recycling bin for them and then along to the coop to take a couple of bags of soft plastic! We have a build up of milk so said I would make a pasta bake for dinner with plenty of white sauce! As I was getting the dish out of the cupboard they all slipped and the large Pyrex dish is no more! Oops….
The sky was quite pretty tonight, but when I go out it is mostly obscured by the trees photos are. Bit murky through the windows. Some of each here.
There is a street lamp that I see from my window and every night as it lights it glows green for a few seconds as it comes on. I watched for it tonight but it doesn’t actually look green in the photo!
So, half an hours pedalling and I am ready for bed, but will watch a drama on tv for a bit!
You’ve had a lot to contend with lately, so you’re probably just a bit run down. You need a proper rest doing absolutely nothing. Reading by the seafront eating ice cream drinking hot chocolate 😊
ReplyDeleteYou lot are very good at recycling. I have to say I’m not very good at all these days. I really should get myself into gear and make an effort.
That was an oops! Fun to clean up too I bet. You’ll be finding bits of glass for weeks. Definitely shoes required in there for a while. I hope the pasta bake tasted good and made it all worthwhile……I’m sure it did.
That does look a nice sky. I think I prefer the second pic.
Shame you couldn’t catch the green glow from the streetlight, but it still looks good against that lovely sky.
Don’t go too mad with the pedalling. I do know you’ve said before that it helps keep the legs active. Fingers crossed.
Well, I don’t really think the pedalling will make it the aching legs any worse, but time will tell.
ReplyDeleteThe sky is lovely from upstairs but quite different when I get down into the garden.
It was a bit of a pain cleaning up the glass, got that dish a t the boot sale and have used it quite a bit!
