Bel was pleased to see me, it has been a couple of weeks. She will be ninety next year and manages on her own and still gets out when she can.
I did some chores that I can manage and sorted out the bird food in the greenhouse. I did manage to feed the birds this morning, a bit easier this time as the right hand is pretty good, not back to full strength but getting there.
I will find a couple more obscure words to finish.
I like this one!
Overbrim (v.): To overflow, or to cause to overflow, such as a clogged toilet.
Bavardage (n.): Idle palaver; gossip or chitchat.
It’ll be nice to get back to washing without the use of plastic bags, but it’s served it’s purpose well. I’d have just not bothered showering until after Christmas 😊
ReplyDeleteI bet Darren is really keen to wear a Christmas jumper. He probably won’t let you anywhere near with a camera.
I like the picture, and the frame that Tina bought. It looks very good.
Nice that you’ve managed to get out and to do a few things at home, but don’t go overdoing it. There’ll be plenty of time next year for that.
Overbrim is a good one. Makes perfect sense.
It will be good when I have two working hands, will be a little while yet.
ReplyDeleteOverbrim is a good descriptive word.
