Making headway!

I was up early and put the garden light on to feed the birds, I was up before they were, even the blackbirds didn’t appear and they are usually around me as soon as I am out there! The weather seemed reasonable then although there had obviously been rain in the night.  But when I set off with Darren to see if there was anything doing at the boot sale it was foggy and drizzly. No action on the field and even the market wasn’t up and running, so we went to the sea front to have breakfast at Lily’s. It was a grey damp day, not an inviting sea.

Much of the day has been spent on the de-cluttering mission. Will be some trips to the charity shop tomorrow. So as the post name says, making headway.
Not Pandora of course, although she has been a crazy nuisance today!
For years I have hung my Christmas cards on strings hanging from a door but dong it a bit differently this year. May even get some decorations out this year!

  1. You must have been up early if you beat the birds! Bet they were surprised it was already out when they got there.
Shame there wasn’t a boot sale, but maybe it’s a sign. With you being busy and on a roll decluttering, someone up there is trying to stop you being tempted by more 😊 Always worth going out for the breakfast though. The sea definitely doesn’t look very inviting. I wonder if the loony surfers are out in force in Scarborough.
That’s a few bags of stuff for the charity shop. You’ll be ready to fill a few more once you’ve got rid of those.
The cards look nice like that. It’s nice having a proper fireplace. I look forward to seeing more pics once you got the other decorations out.

  2. The new years resolution had better be 'stop buying stuff you don't need! Not that I have ever stuck to resolutions yet!
