One more shot at 8.30 am from the bus stop.
I had decided to go to Beverley as I had seen good deals on picture frames at the market. I went into the town first and got some toiletries and some wrapping paper then had some breakfast. Then I had a look round the market and in the end decided against the frames. They are there every week so If I get round to some painting I can buy some when I need them.
I haven’t done a great deal this afternoon, have hung up some Christmas cards and made a couple of phone calls and of course did FaceTime with the American branch of the family.
I have taken the large bandage of this evening, a bit more bruising this time and there is a stitch sticking out right on my wrist which is pretty uncomfortable.
Going to enjoy the Strictly semi final now.
That is a nice sky. Almost worth getting up early for.
ReplyDeleteYou were brave going into Beverly two weeks before Christmas! But it makes a nice trip out, and a bit of retail therapy and a nice meal are always good.
Can’t say I blame you for not doing much else. That’s the idea of convalescing, you rest and relax 😊
The wrist does look a lot more bruised than before. The surgeon this time wasn’t quite so gentle as the last one! It’ll soon be all better though, then you can decide what to have mended next 😄
It wasn't too busy in Beveey as I was on the bus home just after ten thirty. May give the towns a miss for the next couple of weeks now!
